Being Well and Balanced; Overcoming Adversity

As we have moved pass the end of Summer 2024 and significantly through Autumn let's reflect on the year to date, in terms of wellness, adversity and balance.  With the majority of the year behind us, this is a Good time to self assess, gaining a productive end of year and starting out next year (2025) with a Good jump on the new year.

From a physical, mental, and emotional perspective, ask yourself how you are feeling and doing.  Your true self will always give you the pure answer you seek. Be still and meditate on this.  You may not know all the information; however you will get at least significant information.  For example, is there a discomfort or pain you are dealing with?  Does it seem you are managing more mental challenges without resolution?  Is there excessive drama going on around you that is causing you to react in a way you prefer not to?  If you can relate to any of these then you may be in an unbalance state of being.  The Good news is, there are ways you can bring those matters in to a better state of homeostasis (balance).

Overcoming adversity and gaining balance begins with Gratitude.  Gratitude stems from faith.  "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen". Hebrews 11:1  It is one the most powerful forces in existence.  With faith you can be grateful under enormous circumstances and use it to assist with recovery from any situation.  There is an Energy associated with Faith that can help you.

Hope gives you an opportunity to move forward with Strength to manage any issue.  Now that you have Gratitude, Faith and Hope you can successfully begin specific acts toward addressing those issues using truth, knowledge and Good Will.

Consider how you are approaching good health and overall wellness.  Is it whole and complete or is it targeted and limited?  Holistic or symptom based?  Do you see the elimination of specific dis-eases, pathogens, germs, bacteria, toxins and the like as the primary journey to wellness?

On a physical level, perhaps a better way to being well is in the environmental cause-based realm.  In other words a "terrain based" theory towards health and wellness. As depicted in an "Epoch Times" article (theepochtimes.com) written by Emma Takstra, "Terrain Theory" may be the best overall inroad to true balance.  Unlike "germ Theory with focuses on a particular germ, virus, pathogen, etc., Terrain Theory maintains that a "weakened body attracts" dis-ease, imbalance, and dis-order.  Therefore establishing a healthy terrain can help prevent sickness and even in some cases restore us to health once sick.  For example, there is no doubt that antibiotics have saved many lives.  As germ theory would have it, we are constantly barraged with tiny microbes that make us sick.  However science has shown that our microbiome is important in contributing to a happy personal terrain and productively in absence of those microbes can infuse disease and leave our bodies more vulnerable to pathogenic microbes and chronic disease.  In addition, in another example, building the terrain with nutritional complements such as vitamins and minerals can serve as the foundation for preventing and recovering from chronic and debilitating diseases.  More on that later.

Suffice it to say, as we approach 2025, it will more important than ever, considering convergence of big pharma, big food, big agriculture(bio-adulterated/GMO products), and other adversarial energies,  to be ever aware of our environment, those who are impacting it, and what you can do to protect your self and Loved ones.

Why we settle for less

Ever wonder why we settle for less as average citizens?  Could it be because we simply don't know any better? or don't even think twice about questioning what's presented to us? or don't believe apathetically it will make any difference to complain?  I submit to you it's all of the above and then some.  You see we have been blinded by the light (as the song so aptly put it).  The light being mass information much of which is misleading or simply incorrect.  For example just in the area of food (we settle for less in education, energy, housing, and numerous other areas), did it ever occur to you that all food should be organic (meaning without harmful toxins or being less than fully nutritious)? or that foods that have been adulterated (ie: altered genetically for various reasons) and may be harmful don't even have to be labeled as such in the USA [although in other countries it is a requirement]?

There are other reasons we settle for less of course and I'll get into those at another time.  Check back.

Peace and Blessing
